How to Apply for the Summer Opera Workshop
PRICE
Tuition only is $2,000.00, Tuition plus Room and Board is $2,400.00 for the 2012 program. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required no later than two weeks after the time of acceptance to the program, and/or no later than April 1, 2012. The entire amount due must be paid no later than May 1, 2012.
ENROLLMENT/AUDITION
Enrollment for 2012 is limited to 30 singers. You must be at least a rising high school junior to participate, and there is no upper age limit. Limited partial scholarships are available.
We will not hold live auditions this year. All auditions will be held via the Yaptracker website (see below for link). Applications must include contact information for your current teacher. The deadline is February 15, 2012. Both opera and operetta arias are acceptable choices for the application, but at least one number must be in Italian. Only applications received by the deadline above will be considered for scholarships. There is a $25.00 application fee, payable on the Yaptracker website at the time of application. You must submit three arias, or two arias and an art song, with at least one piece in Italian and one in English. Contact the email address below should you have any questions.
